The Application Developer will play a key role in supporting TAP's mission to advance economic development, health, and quality of life in Indiana and beyond. Participate in various development projects throughout the natural development lifecycle. Work closely with Purdue departments, partners, and outside service providers to select, develop, and maintain a broad range of information technology software, systems, and services needed to successfully undertake and complete TAP's many engagements. This position is both a developer and full solutions provider as the successful candidate will provide a wide range of solutions architecture to meet various business needs.
Technology Adoption Program Manager
THIS POSITION IS A PURDUE TEMPORARY EMPLOYEE POSITION AND COMES WITH SALARY ONLY - NO BENEFITS, THE SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR REGULAR FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT AFTER A PERFORMANCE AND REVIEW PERIOD OF UP TO 12 MONTHS.
This position is responsible for supporting the MEP Center by developing and managing a Technology Adoption business practice that will engage university faculty, internal and external technical specialists and subcontractors that will deliver exceptional value into the manufacturing sector by implementing technology projects involving product development, manufacturing methods, materials or equipment. Candidate must consistently and vigorously engage the Indiana manufacturing community at the OEM level and/or targeted Tier 1-4 levels to secure impactful technical projects to be carried out by Purdue in a contractual agreement with the company.
The Events Specialist will be responsible for supporting the MEP Center by promoting, directing, and coordinating marketing activities and policies which will connect business to the TAP MEP Center. Provide the structure and detail necessary to assure proper messaging to the client and service benefit statements. Strict adherence to Purdue confidentiality policies is required.
